Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 2/3 cup liquid shortening
- 1 cup sour milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cups fresh rhubarb, diced
- 1/2 cup nuts
Recipe
- 1 mix above ingredients and put in 2 greased and floured loaf pans.
- 2 sprinkle topping (see below) over top and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
- 3 topping:.
- 4 1/2 cup sugar.
- 5 1 tablespoons butter.
