- 8 slices french bread (3/4-inch thick)
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons orange juice
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
Recipe
- 1 arrange bread in a 9x12 pan.
- 2 beat eggs; blend in remaining ingredients.
- 3 pour mixture over bread; turning slices to coat evenly.
- 4 refrigerate overnight.
- 5 fry in skillet over medium heat.
