Finnish Flat Bread

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 cup shortening
- 1 cup buttermilk
Recipe
- 1 combine dry ingredients.
- 2 cut in shortning, until course crumbs.
- 3 add milk; mix just until dough is wet.
- 4 knead on floured surface 5-6 times.
- 5 pat onto ungreased 12in pizza pan.
- 6 bake at 350* for 30 minutes, until golden.
- 7 cool.
