Potato Chapathis/parathas

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 medium potatoes
  • 250 g flour
  • salt
  • 2 tablespoons oil

Recipe

  • 1 boil potatoes, until cooked.
  • 2 peel, mash and add (whilst still hot) to the flour and salt.
  • 3 knead into a soft but not sticky dough without adding any water.
  • 4 roll out chapathis into 6" diameter rounds and cook on both sides on a griddle, drizzling with a spoonful of oil.
  • 5 when golden in colour, remove from the griddle and serve immediately.
