Lou Ann's Corn Casserole

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1/2 cup green onions or 1/2 cup onion
  • 3/4 cup bell pepper
  • 2 (15 1/4 ounce) cans cream-style corn
  • 2 (14 3/4 ounce) cans whole corn (drain one)
  • 1 (8 1/2 ounce) package cornbread mix (cook 1st & set aside)
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 cup pimiento

Recipe

  • 1 sauté onions & pepper in margarine.
  • 2 add corn, crumbled cornbread, egg, sugar, & pimentos.
  • 3 mix well.
  • 4 pour in buttered casserole dish.
  • 5 grate sharp or cheddar cheese on top.
  • 6 bake @ 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
