My Sister Anne's Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients

- 1 lb fresh large mushroom
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 onion, minced
- 1 1/2 cups seasoned bread crumbs
- 2 cups crabmeat
- pepper
- 1 cup monterey jack cheese, shredded
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350°f.
- 2 remove stems from mushrooms and set caps aside.
- 3 mince mushroom stems.
- 4 heat oil in a skillet and saute onion, garlic, mushroom stems and 1 cup of the bread crumbs.
- 5 remove from heat.
- 6 add crab meat, sprinkle with pepper, and mix well.
- 7 stuff mushroom caps with mixture.
- 8 place in a casserole dish.
- 9 top with remaining bread crumbs and the cheese.
- 10 bake for 20 minutes.
