My Sister Anne's Stuffed Mushrooms

Total Time: 27 mins Preparation Time: 2 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 lb fresh large mushroom
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups seasoned bread crumbs
  • 2 cups crabmeat
  • pepper
  • 1 cup monterey jack cheese, shredded

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°f.
  • 2 remove stems from mushrooms and set caps aside.
  • 3 mince mushroom stems.
  • 4 heat oil in a skillet and saute onion, garlic, mushroom stems and 1 cup of the bread crumbs.
  • 5 remove from heat.
  • 6 add crab meat, sprinkle with pepper, and mix well.
  • 7 stuff mushroom caps with mixture.
  • 8 place in a casserole dish.
  • 9 top with remaining bread crumbs and the cheese.
  • 10 bake for 20 minutes.
