Polish Tuna Melt Sandwich

Total Time: 19 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 4 mins

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces canned tuna, drained
  • 1/4 cup red onion, diced
  • 4 large green olives, garlic stuffed and diced (we like mezzetta)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon pepperoncini juice
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • 12 slices italian bread

Recipe

  • 1 preheat broiler.
  • 2 mix first 5 ingredients in a bowl. taste and adjust as desired.
  • 3 spead tuna mixture on 6 slices of bread and cover with cheese slices.
  • 4 spread a little mayo on other 6 slices.
  • 5 place all 12 slices on a baking pan and broil until cheese is melted and starting to brown.
