Raisin And Almond Tea Loaf

Ingredients
- 12 ounces margarine
- 12 ounces caster sugar
- 6 medium eggs (beaten)
- 1 teaspoon almond essence
- 6 ounces ground almonds
- 8 ounces raisins
- 12 ounces self raising flour
- 6 tablespoons milk
Recipe
- 1 cream margarine and sugar until light and fluffy
- 2 add eggs a bit at a time.
- 3 add almond essence
- 4 lightly fold in the rest so as not to loose all that air you have beaten inches
- 5 put into two 2 lb loaf tins (greased and lined).
- 6 cook in a preheated oven 160 c /325f (middle shelf) for 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes.
