Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 (16 ounce) can pumpkin puree
- 3 1/2 cups flour, sifted
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 2/3 cup water
Recipe
- 1 cream together sugar and oil.
- 2 add eggs and pumpkin; mix well.
- 3 sift together flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder, nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon and cloves.
- 4 add to pumpkin mixture alternately with water.
- 5 mix well after each addition.
- 6 pour into well greased and floured 9 x 5-inch loaf pans.
- 7 bake at 350 °f for 1 ½ hours, until loaves test done.
- 8 let stand for 10 minutes.
- 9 remove from pans to cool.
