Ingredients
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 slice peeled fresh gingerroot, 1/4 inch thick
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 baguette, 12 inch
Recipe
- 1 in a small food processor or blender puree the the garlic and ginger with the butter until smooth.
- 2 cut the baguette lengthwise; spread butter mixture on both cut sides; broil 4" away from heat source until golden brown, about 3 minutes.
