Pineapple Pie With Shortbread Pie Crust

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 398 ml crushed pineapple
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • shortbread pie crust
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 teaspoons icing sugar

Recipe

  • 1 mix flour, butter and icing sugar and press into a 9 inch pie plate. bake 20 minutes at 350°f.
  • 2 cook crushed pineapple, corn starch, salt and sugar until thick. add butter and lemon juice. when cool pour into the cooked pie crust.
