Raisin Bran Bread

Total Time: 1 hr 40 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup oatmeal
  • 1/3 cup all-bran cereal
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 -1 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/3 cup oatmeal
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter, softened

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 325.
  • 2 grease bottom only of a 9x5x3-inch loaf pan.
  • 3 topping--------.
  • 4 in a small bowl, combine oatmeal, brown sugar, and butter mixing till crumbly; set aside.
  • 5 batter---------.
  • 6 in a large bowl mix together flour, oatmeal, bran cereal, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and brown sugar.
  • 7 stir in milk, eggs, and oil; mixing just to moisten.
  • 8 fold in raisins.
  • 9 spoon into prepared pan.
  • 10 sprinkle evenly with topping.
  • 11 bake for 1 hour and 15 to 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  • 12 cool on rack 10 minutes.
  • 13 remove from pan.
  • 14 cool completely.
