Onion-smothered Barbecued Turkey Burgers

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey breast
- 2 tablespoons italian seasoned breadcrumbs
- 1/3 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 large yellow onion
Recipe
- 1 mix ground turkey, bread crumbs, and half the barbecue sauce.
- 2 shape mixture into four patties, 1/2 inch thick.
- 3 grill until done.
- 4 meanwhile, cut onion in half lengthwise, then cut crosswise into 1/4-inch slices.
- 5 separate into half-rings.
- 6 heat nonstick skillet over med-high heat.
- 7 add onion, cook 2 minutes, stirring frequently.
- 8 reduce heat to medium; cover and cook 2 minutes.
- 9 stir in remaining barbecue sauce.
- 10 reduce heat to med-low and cook 5 minutes longer or until onion is wilted and sauce thickens.
- 11 serve burgers on buns, smothered in onions and extra barbecue sauce.
