French Toast

Total Time: 13 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 8 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 40 g butter (for pan)
  • 4 slices bread (thick)

Recipe

  • 1 break eggs into a wide shallow dish and add the milk and vanilla extract.
  • 2 beat mixture with a fork.
  • 3 dip the bread into the egg mixture; let the excess run off; place in a buttered pan.
  • 4 cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
  • 5 when it is golden underneath, turn the bread over and cook other side.
  • 6 transfer the french toast to a plate.
  • 7 when done, serve with ground cinnamon or sugar.
