Open Face Breakfast Sandwich

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 (20 ounce) can pineapple slices or 1 (20 ounce) can sliced fresh pineapple
  • 1/4 cup pineapple preserves
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 8 slices raisin bread
  • 1/4 cup honey, warmed

Recipe

  • 1 drain pineapple slices, reserving 1/4 cup juice.
  • 2 beat the cream cheese and juice till light and fluffy.
  • 3 fold in the preserves.
  • 4 toast the raisin bread.
  • 5 top each slice of bread with the cheese mixture.
  • 6 top each of these with 1-2 slices of pineapple.
  • 7 drizzle each slice with warm honey.
