- 125 g granny smith apples, chopped
- 125 g fresh breadcrumbs
- 125 g butter
- 125 g currants
- 60 g candied citrus peel
- 150 g caster sugar
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 4 eggs
Recipe
- 1 cream the butter and sugar.
- 2 add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
- 3 grease a pudding basin with butter put in the mixture.
- 4 seal with lid and steam for 2 hours. serve with sweet wine sauce or custard.
