Simple Low-fat Turkey Meatballs

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1/2 lb all meat lean ground turkey
  • 1/2 yellow onion (finely chopped)
  • 1/4 cup parsley (finely chopped)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup dried italian seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • olive oil (for browning meatballs, not in mixture)

Recipe

  • 1 beat egg in large bowl.
  • 2 add all remaining ingredients.
  • 3 mush together well using your hands.
  • 4 form into 1/2 inch balls.
  • 5 heat small amount of olive oil (about 1 tsp to keep this recipe low-fat) in skillet.
  • 6 put half the balls into the skillet and cook until browned evenly on outside.
  • 7 remove and add remaining balls.
