Simple Low-fat Turkey Meatballs

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 1/2 lb all meat lean ground turkey
- 1/2 yellow onion (finely chopped)
- 1/4 cup parsley (finely chopped)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup dried italian seasoned breadcrumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- olive oil (for browning meatballs, not in mixture)
Recipe
- 1 beat egg in large bowl.
- 2 add all remaining ingredients.
- 3 mush together well using your hands.
- 4 form into 1/2 inch balls.
- 5 heat small amount of olive oil (about 1 tsp to keep this recipe low-fat) in skillet.
- 6 put half the balls into the skillet and cook until browned evenly on outside.
- 7 remove and add remaining balls.
