Our Favorite Wheat Bread

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon dry yeast
- 2 cups warm water
- 1/4 cup soft butter
- 1/8 cup molasses
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups whole wheat flour
- 2 cups flour
Recipe
- 1 dissolve yeast in warm water.
- 2 combine butter, molasses, honey, and salt.
- 3 mix well.
- 4 add yeast mixture.
- 5 gradually add flour.
- 6 turn onto floured surface and knead until smooth.
- 7 place in greased bowl and let rise until double.
- 8 punch down.
- 9 let dough rest a few minutes.
- 10 shape into 2 loaves.
- 11 place in greased bread pans.
- 12 let rise about 1 hour.
- 13 bake at 375° for 35-40 minutes.
