Mushrooms Filled With Crabmeat

Ingredients
- 1 lb medium button mushroom, brushed clean
- 1 (6 ounce) can crabmeat, well-drained and flaked
- 3 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika (to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce (to taste)
- salt
- 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup plain breadcrumbs
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
Recipe
- 1 preheat broiler.
- 2 remove stems from mushrooms and save for another use.
- 3 combine crabmeat with cream, cheese and seasonings.
- 4 fill caps with mixture, mounding just slightly
- 5 if mushrooms do not sit flat, slice a small piece off the bottom.
- 6 make buttered breadcrumbs by melting butter in a small saute pan
- 7 add breadcrumbs and salt and saute until golden, 2-3 minutes stirring regularly.
- 8 sprinkle crumbs over top of mushrooms and press gently.
- 9 transfer mushrooms to a small baking sheet with sides, then set under broiler 3-5 minutes or until mushrooms are heated through and crumbs are browned.
- 10 serve immediately.
