Rhubarb Bread

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup hot cooked rhubarb
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 teaspoon hot water
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Recipe
- 1 cream butter and sugar.
- 2 add eggs and milk.
- 3 in a seperate bowl, mix flour, salt and soda.
- 4 add to creamed mixture.
- 5 add vanilla and hot rhubarb.
- 6 pour into a 9 x 5 x 3 inch greased loaf pan.
- 7 bake one hour at 375 or until done.
- 8 topping:.
- 9 melt butter in a small pan.
- 10 add remaining ingredients and stir until well blended. pour over top of bread.
