Quick Rise Whole Wheat Bread

Total Time: 1 hr 25 mins Preparation Time: 1 hr Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • 3 cups hot water (about 120 degrees )
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil (or butter)
  • 1/4 cup honey (or brown sugar)
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 7 -8 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/3 cup vital wheat gluten
  • 1 -2 tablespoon instant yeast

Recipe

  • 1 add ingredients in the order listed to bread mixing bowl.
  • 2 using a dough hook, mix well and add more flour if needed so that the dough cleans the sides of the bowl (dough should be slightly tacky.
  • 3 knead for 10 minutes.
