Pao De Queijo (cheese Bread)

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 4 cups tapioca starch
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 2/3 cup oil
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 5 ounces of shredded parmesan cheese (sargento)
  • 8 ounces gouda cheese (wisconsin)

Recipe

  • 1 put the yuka flour in a bowl.
  • 2 boil water, milk and oil - be careful the milk tends to raise and the stove can catch on fire if the oil touches the burners.
  • 3 pour the boiled liquids into the flour mixing as fast as you can. don't worry if you can't mix everything.
  • 4 add eggs and salt. use the dough mixer to mix everything.
  • 5 add cheeses. (cut gouda in small pieces if you cant find the one that comes in cubes inside a bag.) use your hands to incorporate them to the mix.
  • 6 use 2 spoons to make little mountains in the baking pan.
  • 7 bake for 20 min at 425º.
