Mushroom Pie

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 unbaked pie shell
  • 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms, sliced thin and sauteed in
  • 2 teaspoons margarine
  • 1 cup chopped chives or 1 cup green onion (optional)
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • pepper
  • 1 1/4 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs or 1/2 cup cracker crumb

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350.
  • 2 sauté mushrooms and green onions until soft and slightly browned.
  • 3 place in unbaked pie shell.
  • 4 combine melted butter and crumbs and set aside.
  • 5 mix all the rest of the ingredients and pour into pie shell.
  • 6 top with crumb mixture.
  • 7 bake for 30 minutes.
