Honey Moist Cornbread

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 400*f.
  • 2 grease a 9 inch baking pan, set aside.
  • 3 in a bowl mix together, cornmeal, flour, sugar, salt and baking powder, using a wire whisk, give it a couple of swirls to blend the dry ingredients.
  • 4 add remaining ingredients and mix until moistened.
  • 5 pour into greased pan.
  • 6 bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until a wooden toothpick inserted into center comes out dry.
