Maple Toast Egg Bake

Total Time: 24 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 14 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 bread, slices (day old)
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 4 eggs

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2 spray a muffin pan with a non-stick spray.
  • 3 cut the crusts off the bread.
  • 4 mix the butter and maple syrup together and brush both sides of the bread with the mixture.
  • 5 place the bread in the muffin pan to form cups.
  • 6 crack open the eggs and drop one egg into each cup.
  • 7 bake until egg is cooked to your liking (12 to 14 minutes for soft yolks).
  • 8 note: eggs will be more cooked on the bottom.
