Hot Swiss & Almond Spread

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups swiss cheese, shredded
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup onion, minced
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon horseradish
- 1 pinch black pepper
- 1/2 cup almonds, sauteed
Recipe
- 1 combine all ingredients in either a microwaveable bowl or a pot for the stovetop, according to your cooking preference.
- 2 if using the microwave, heat for 1-2 minutes at a time on 50% power, stirring periodically, until heated through and cheese is melted (about 6-8 minutes).
- 3 if using the stovetop, heat over medium low, stirring frequently (about 6-8 minutes).
