Gingerbread Muffins

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup hard margarine, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2/3 cup mild molasses
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
Recipe
- 1 cream margarine and sugar together in large bowl.
- 2 beat in eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition.
- 3 add molasses and milk.
- 4 beat until mixed.
- 5 combine remaining 7 ingredients in medium bowl.
- 6 add to margarine mixture.
- 7 stir until just moistened.
- 8 fill greased muffin cups 3/4 full.
- 9 bake in 375°f oven for about 20 minutes until wooden pick inserted in centre of muffin comes out clean.
- 10 let stand in pan for 5 minutes before turning out onto wire rack to cool.
- 11 companyĆ¢€™s coming home for the holidays.
