Pumpkin Bread

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • 5 cups flour
  • 4 cups sugar
  • 1 (13 ounce) can pumpkin
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 4 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2 mix flour, cinnamon, cloves, sugar, salt and soda in a large bowl.
  • 3 in a medium bowl, combine pumpkin, milk, egg, and oil with electric mixer; only mix until just blended slowly add flour to liquid mixture with hand mixer just until blended nicely.
  • 4 divide mix into 3 lightly buttered loaf pans.
  • 5 bake for 1 hour.
  • 6 cool in pans on wire racks.
  • 7 turn out over wire rack and store.
  • 8 should enjoy within 4-5 days.
  • 9 can be frozen if you desire to keep for a later date.
