Pumpkin Bread (less Sugar And Less Oil - Still Amazing!)

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1/4 cup applesauce, unsweetened
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg or 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup pumpkin
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups and 3 tbs. flour
  • 1/3 cup water or 1/3 cup apple juice

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°f.
  • 2 cream sugar, oil and applesauce together.
  • 3 add eggs. mix well.
  • 4 add spices, vanilla and pumpkin.
  • 5 mix flour, baking soda and salt.
  • 6 alternately add flour mixture and water or apple juice. mix well.
  • 7 pour into 3 greased small bread loaf pans or 1 greased large bread pan.
  • 8 bake at 350f degrees for 30 minutes for smaller loaves or 45-55 minutes for large loaf.
