Egg In A Roll

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 1
  • 1 roll, about 8cm in diameter
  • 1 slice bacon, cooked
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon grated cheese
  • 1 teaspoon melted butter

Recipe

  • 1 turn oven to 180 degrees.
  • 2 slice top thinly of the roll.
  • 3 pull centre out of roll, leave bread case intact.
  • 4 cut rind off bacon, chop it up and put inside roll.
  • 5 break egg into roll, pierce yolk with the tip of a knife.
  • 6 sprinkle grated cheese on.
  • 7 put in shallow baking dish.
  • 8 brush outside of roll with melted butter.
  • 9 bake for 20 minutes or until the egg is set, watch roll doesn't burn.
