Raisin French Toast Casserole

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 loaf cinnamon raisin bread, cubed
  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • 3 cups milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • powdered sugar
  • maple syrup

Recipe

  • 1 put the bread cubes in a greased 13x9 inch baking dish.
  • 2 in a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and vanilla.
  • 3 pour egg mixture evenly over the bread cubes.
  • 4 cover and refrigerate 2 hours or overnight.
  • 5 remove from refrigerator 20 minutes before baking; preheat oven to 350°.
  • 6 bake, uncovered, for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown.
  • 7 sprinkle with powdered sugar.
  • 8 serve with maple syrup, if desired.
