Parmesan Baguette

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons fresh parsley, minced
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 baguette, italian, halved lengthwise
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, shredded

Recipe

  • 1 preheat broiler with oven rack 3–4 inches from the element.
  • 2 combine butter, garlic, parsley, salt, oregano, and paprika; spread mixture on cut sides of baguette and sprinkle with parmesan.
  • 3 broil bread, buttered-side up, on a baking sheet until toasted, 1–3 minutes. remove from oven, then cut into 2-inch pieces.
