Pain De Volaille Meatloaf

Total Time: 1 hr 20 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 lbs ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/8 cup adobo seasoning
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup green pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1/2 tablespoon cumin
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1/2 tablespoon sage
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup dry wine
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 8 tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°f.
  • 2 combine all ingredients for the loaf in a large bowl. knead using hands.
  • 3 place meatloaf mixture in bread pan and bake in oven for 1 hour or until done.
  • 4 in a saucepan combine onions and wine. bring to a boil and reduce by half.
  • 5 add tumeric and cream. reduce to medium heat.
  • 6 wisk in the the butter a little at a time; adding the next piece before the prior has completely melted. do not allow mixture to boil. stir constantly.
  • 7 add fresh lemon juice and salt and pepper to taste.
  • 8 pour sauce over meatloaf and serve.
