Orange Marmalade Bread

Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 cups orange marmalade, divided
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350°.
- 2 in a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda.
- 3 in a separate bowl, mix together 1 1/4 cups of marmalade, egg, oil and orange juice.
- 4 add wet ingredients to flour mixture and mix well.
- 5 stir in the nuts.
- 6 pour into a greased loaf pan and bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes.
- 7 when done, cool briefly, then remove bread from the pan and place on a baking dish.
- 8 glaze with the 1/4 cup of reserved marmalade and return to the oven for 1 minute.
- 9 place on a rack and cool completely.
- 10 bread will slice easier if chilled first.
