Crostini A La Ristorante Delicata

Total Time: 12 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 2 mins

Ingredients

  • 8 -10 slices french bread, sliced about 1/2-inch thick (or any similar type bread)
  • 6 ounces fromage blanc goat cheese (chevre for example. we used plain chevre with no herbs or any other additions.)
  • 4 -6 ounces baby arugula (ideally from your garden or the local farmer's market)
  • 3 -4 large strawberries, cleaned, hulled and sliced 1/4-inch
  • 2 tablespoons dark balsamic vinegar (good quality!)

Recipe

  • 1 first toast or broil the bread slices until golden.
  • 2 spread the goat cheese on each slice of bread.
  • 3 add a scattering of baby arugula then top with a slice of strawberry.
  • 4 for the final touch, drizzle with a {{very light touch}} of dark balsamic vinegar.
  • 5 enjoy!
