Peanut Butter Bread

Total Time: 1 hr Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 2 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder

Recipe

  • 1 in a large bowl, cream together the peanut butter and sugar.
  • 2 add the vanilla and salt and mix well.
  • 3 now add half the milk and half the flour, and all of the baking powder.
  • 4 mix very well.
  • 5 add the remaining milk and flour, and mix again until the batter is nice and smooth.
  • 6 turn the mixture into a well oiled 9 by 5-inch loaf pan.
  • 7 bake at 350° for about an hour.
  • 8 remove from the oven, and allow to cool for about 10 minutes before removing from the pan.
  • 9 cool completely before wrapping and storing.
  • 10 these loaves freeze well.
