Nell's Corn Casserole I

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 (14 ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes
  • 2 (12 ounce) cans shoe peg corn or 2 (12 ounce) cans thawed frozen corn
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese, more to taste
  • 1/4 cup dry breadcrumbs, combined with
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter

Recipe

  • 1 combine all ingredients except breadcrumb mixture in baking dish.
  • 2 sprinkle breadcrumbs around edge.
  • 3 bake at 375 degrees f until heated through, 25-30 minutes.
