Moms Stuffing

Total Time: 2 hrs 45 mins Preparation Time: 45 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 2 bags bread cubes, unseasoned
  • 8 eggs
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon poultry seasoning
  • 5 tablespoons parsley
  • 3 tablespoons dried dill weed
  • 1 large onion, chopped fine
  • 4 grated carrots
  • 3 stalks celery, chopped fine
  • 1 1/4 cups oleo

Recipe

  • 1 saute onion and celery in oleo(which is 1.5 sticks) until slightly tender. boil 2-3 c water and mix everything well, add enough of the boiling water to make it soft. add grated carrots last.
  • 2 spray pice of wide aluminum foil with cooking spray and fold up stuffing into it. put small amount of water about 3-4c adn 3 chix bouillon cubes in bottom of roasting pan. also put 10-15 holes in the foil so the stuffing steams in a stove top roasting pan or in oven at about 325°f apprx 2-3 hours cook time.
