Old South Pecan Cornbread

Ingredients

- 2/3 cup flour
- 2/3 cup ground pecans
- 2/3 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 400*f.
- 2 in a medium bowl mix together dry ingredients.
- 3 in another bowl, combine eggs, buttermilk, and melted butter.
- 4 add all at once to dry ingredients and stir until moistened.
- 5 pour into a greased 9" square baking pan.
- 6 bake for 20 to 25 minutes. enjoy!
