East Texas Cornbread

Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon salt
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 400 degrees f.
- 2 place skillet in oven while it is.
- 3 heating. the skillet must be hot before batter is.
