East Texas Cornbread

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 400 degrees f.
  • 2 place skillet in oven while it is.
