Oatmeal Whole Wheat Quick Bread

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup 1% low-fat milk

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 425.
  • 2 grind oatmeal in a food processor or blender.
  • 3 in a large bowl, combine oatmeal, flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • 4 in a separate bowl, dissolve honey in oil then stir in milk.
  • 5 combine both mixtures and stir.
  • 6 turn out onto a lightly loiled baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes.
