Simple Scotch Shortbread

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 cups flour

Recipe

  • 1 cream butter and sugar.
  • 2 add flour a little at a time.
  • 3 divide mixture in half and knead each piece 5 minutes or more.
  • 4 gently roll out into a circle, place on a baking tray and prick all over with a fork.
  • 5 bake at 325 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.
