Ingredients
- 1/2 cup icing sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1 cup butter
- 1/2 cup candied ginger, chopped
Recipe
- 1 combine icing sugar, flour and ginger.
- 2 cut in butter.
- 3 mix together with your hands, as per a pie crust. when mixture holds together work in candied ginger.
- 4 press into an ungreased 9-inch square pan, about 1/2-inch thick.
- 5 prick through to bottom of the dough with a fork.
- 6 bake at 300 degrees f for 50-60 minutes.
- 7 while warm, cut into desired shapes.
