Ginger Shortbread

Ingredients
- Servings: 9
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1/2-1 cup crystallized ginger, chopped
Recipe
- 1 mix flour to salt ingredients well.
- 2 cream butter and sugar together and add to dry ingredients.
- 3 fold in crystallized ginger. mixture will be crumbly.
- 4 place in a buttered 9x9 inch pan and bake at 350* for 45 minutes.
- 5 cut while still warm.
