Ginger Shortbread

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 9
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2-1 cup crystallized ginger, chopped

Recipe

  • 1 mix flour to salt ingredients well.
  • 2 cream butter and sugar together and add to dry ingredients.
  • 3 fold in crystallized ginger. mixture will be crumbly.
  • 4 place in a buttered 9x9 inch pan and bake at 350* for 45 minutes.
  • 5 cut while still warm.
