Pumpkin Nut Bread

Ingredients
- 3 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup oil
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 4 eggs
- 2/3 cup water
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 2 cups pumpkin
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Recipe
- 1 mix sugar, oil, and eggs.
- 2 add pumpkin and mix thoroughly.
- 3 add dry ingredients alternately with water.
- 4 add pecans.
- 5 pour into greased and floured loaf pans.
- 6 bake at 325 degrees f for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
- 7 invert immediately onto cooling rack.
- 8 freezes well.
