Mushrooms Polonaise

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 onion, minced
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup whipping cream
- salt and pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, minced
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
Recipe
- 1 saute muchrooms in the 1/2 cup butter until lightly browned.
- 2 add the onion and cook until soft. stir in the flour and cook until thick, stirring constantly. add sour cream and whipping cream and stir well. pour into a buttered casserole dish. combine the melted butter and breadcrumbs and sprinkle over the casserole. bake at 325* for 35 minutes or until lightly browned and bubbly.
