Bowatche's Cornbread

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 1/2 cups plain yogurt
  • 2 eggs (beaten)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • olive oil (as needed)

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven 425. combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and cormeal.
  • 2 combine the yogurt, eggs and oil.
  • 3 combine both.
  • 4 pour into a sprayed 9x9 baking dish.
  • 5 drizzle with a little more oil.
  • 6 bake 25-30 minutes.
  • 7 let cool completely before slicing.
