Potato Scones

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 cup warm mashed potatoes
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup flour

Recipe

  • 1 mix together all ingredients until throoughly blended.
  • 2 turn the dough onto a floured board and divide into three.
  • 3 roll into a circle about 1/4 inch thick.
  • 4 cut each circle into 6 wedges.
  • 5 preheat a frying pan or griddle over moderate heat. cast iron works great.
  • 6 sprinkle the griddle with flour and cook each circle for about 5 minutes, until the edges begin to brown turning once to cook both sides.
