Mushrooms Romano

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1 lb fresh mushrooms, quartered
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 medium shallots, sliced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup water
- 3/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/3 cup romano cheese, grated
- 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped (2 tsp. if using dried)
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- salt and pepper, to taste
Recipe
- 1 heat the oil over medium-high heat. add the mushrooms, shallots, and garlic. cook, stirring frequently, until the mushrooms are tender (about five minutes or so). add 1/4 cup water and cook for another minute, still stirring.
- 2 add the remaining ingredients. cook, tossing, for a couple of minutes, until the mixture is hot and the cheese has melted.
