Mango Brown Betty

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 tablespoon crystallized ginger
  • 1/2 cup packed light-brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 5 slices bread, coarsely torn
  • 4 mangoes (4 pounds)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375ºf.
  • 2 in a food processor, pulse ginger until finely chopped.
